There are 19 cases of locally transmitted infection, said MOH in a news release. Of these, 13 are linked to past cases, out of which 11 have been placed on quarantine and two were detected through surveillance.
The remaining six local cases are unlinked. All the new cases are from the community, with no new cases found in the migrant workers' dormitories. There are also six imported cases, five of whom are returning Singaporeans or permanent residents. They have all been placed on Stay-Home Notice since their arrival in the country.
In its nightly update on Saturday, MOH shared details on the four unlinked cases detected earlier that day.
