Victoria's health authorities say it is still too soon to say if the state's fourth COVID-19 lockdown will end on Friday, as first announced.
It comes as the state yesterday announced five new locally acquired cases, bringing the total number of infections linked to the latest outbreak to 35.

Those hotspots traced as late as 23rd May may see an increase in new cases 7-14 days later, so today till June 7 is crucial..On June 7 if new cases tapers low and if tracing is highly under control and effective ,we hope the full lock down ends.

It is cheaper to have purpose built QUARANTINE CENTRES away from major populations for returning people to wait to be cleared of all viruses. Lock downs cost the economy too much
