MERCY Malaysia volunteers will be supporting the health ministry in the implementation of mobile vaccination centres.
KUALA LUMPUR: MERCY Malaysia will mobilise funds and volunteers to assist the health ministry in conducting a door-to-door vaccine outreach programme next month. In a statement, MERCY Malaysia general manager Said Alhudzari Ibrahim said the focus would be on homeless individuals, the disabled and individuals who are unable to go to vaccination centres due to health problems.
“The first phase of the programme will involve 20 MERCY Malaysia volunteers. They will be divided into three groups to be mobilised for the health ministry’s vaccine outreach programme in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. “We are supporting the health ministry in the implementation of mobile vaccination centres to provide vaccination to the target groups,” Said Alhudzari said.Subscribe to our newsletter and get news delivered to your mailbox.
