Victoria has endured its first of seven days in lockdown which came into effect from 11:59PM last night AEST.

Over 10,000 primary and secondary contacts of existing infections have been identified in the state. Residents are only able to leave home for five reasons including necessary shopping, authorised work, exercise, caregiving and medical reasons, and in order to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Masks will be mandatory everywhere except inside your home.

Victorian health authorities have said restrictions could be eased if case numbers drop during the week - however they do not want to risk any further outbreaks. One Victorian has been admitted to ICU and is on a ventilator after contracting the virus. No visitors will be allowed at private residences other than a partner and single-person bubbles are permitted if you live alone.

FFS stop blaming Morrison start looking at your Local Government. Where the feck has Dan gone, into hiding is my guess because he is a total failure!!

Every other country in the world would label Australia HQ a raving success.

If only Morrison had the foresight one year ago & commenced building purpose-built quarantine facilities, Victorians would most likely be walking around free today, maskless. 🙄
