Covid-19: Dept of Health reports 503 new cases

The number of people with the disease being treated in hospital has fallen to 101 - down one since yesterday.

Earlier the Department of Health in Northern Ireland reported 107 new cases of Covid-19 and no further deaths.The average 7-day incidence rate per 100,000 for Northern Ireland is 32.6. It said that people in the high-risk and very high-risk categories continue to be vaccinated through their GPs. The last official published figures, before last week's cyber attack on the Health Service Executive, showed that over 279,000 doses had been administered to people in Group 4 - those aged 16-69 years, at very high-risk due to an underlying condition.
