IOC offers medical support for Tokyo Olympics as doctors call for Games to be cancelled due to COVID

The Governor of Chiba prefecture, where an Olympic surfing event will be contested for the first time, has asked the organising committee to refrain from being a drain on medical resources in his area and said "President Bach kindly made an offer with respect to COVID-19 countermeasures to make additional support to the NOC medical personnel at the village and the venues, which we appreciate very much," he said.

Should be canceled...the Japanese people don’t want it!! It’s their country!!!

More than 60 countries are running at 1000 Covid cases a day, the games must be canceled and Tokyo host 2024 instead move all the other hosts back 4 years. Japan also struggling to manage Covid outbreaks at the moment
