DEPARTMENT of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, assured that all AstraZeneca vaccines delivered to the country will be administered before the expiry dates.
The National Covid-19 Vaccine Operations Center said 1.5 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine will expire by June 30, 2021 while 525,000 others cannot be used beyond July 31 2021. The DOH has tapped the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority , which committed to assist in the vaccination of 120,000 people a day in the National Capital Region .
