BREAKING: Queensland has recorded no new coronavirus cases after ending its snap three-day lockdown four days ago.

Health Minister Yvette D’Ath confirmed no new transmissions of the virus were diagnosed while there was one case recorded in an overseas traveller.

It comes after Queensland recorded one new locally acquired case of COVID-19 on Saturday following the easing of Brisbane’s snap three-day lockdown on Thursday. “ fantastic news. That, along with the one case yesterday, the one locally acquired case that was already in quarantine really high lights, I think, that we are making great progress in this most recent outbreak,” Ms D’Ath said.
