Ismail Sabri: RM10,000 compound applies to all MCO categories

KUALA LUMPUR : The RM10,000 compound under the Emergency Ordinance 2021 applies to all categories of the movement control order , says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri YaakobThis means that those in MCO, conditional MCO and recovery MCO areas can be issued a compound of RM10,000 if they violate standard operating procedures .

"But should understand, the police action is based on the Emergency Ordinance and it is for the safety of the public," he told reporters at the groundbreaking for the One Member One House project at Satria Residensi, Sungai Besi here on Saturday . Ismail Sabri reiterated that the police did not have the power to reduce the amount of compound imposed and those who received the compound notice could make an appeal to the district health office. – Bernama

Make sure 10k is for all races.

So sad, how many could afford Rm10K, most have go to to jail. Another broken promise that max is 10K but how much depend on appeal and it could be Rm10 to 10K. 10K are for those who repeatedly committed SOP but why lied. Yet to see any VIP got fine although so clearly saw on TV.

Luckily it's only 10k. Surely no big deal for most Msians. Plus our law officers are pretty understanding. Bravo 👏👏👏
