The World Health Organization is carefully studying and reconciling its data on the vaccines that will be used for its Solidarity Vaccine Trials in the country, the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development said on Monday, Feb. 22.

Montoya said based on their last meeting with the WHO, some 15,000 volunteers are expected to be involved in the clinical trials in 20 sites in the country. He said that while waiting for the WHO’s issuance of final SOPs and protocols, the training of researchers, vaccinators and all those who are involved in the SVT continues.
