The NSW government is hopeful of a more rapid introduction of the COVID-19 vaccination across the wider community, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian says | Kaubo

“I think the people of this state know that we don’t muck around as soon as we have something available to us ... we’ll get it distributed in New South Wales.”

If a new COVID-19 outbreak occured, Ms Berejiklian said the vaccine program out could pivot to protect the most vulnerable.“Yes, we would reevaluate our vaccine rollout because that’s what you have to do in a pandemic. You have to be adaptable and flexible and make sure you’re managing the risk,” she said.

“The timeframes for that roadmap have been laid out, but they may be brought forward,” Dr Chant said.Dr Chant said 2021 would be a year of transition for the state, warning the pubic against building up hopes for an immediate easing of quarantine restrictions.
