Speaking through a translator Tuesday, Yassin Dabeh spoke to media in an effort to quash online rumours Ahmed Dabeh died by suicide.
Ahmed told reporters that Yassin was in and out of hospital after contracting COVID-19 in mid-January.
It is disgusting that such rumours have surfaced. It is terrible that this young man, with his life ahead of him has died so young. We have lost a good citizen who has died while working a job to care for others. People like him deserve better pay & safer working conditions.
His death is tragic, that is a fact. The problem is his death is an anomaly from everything we know about Covid. That it wasn't investigated is downright dangerous. How can we fight this pandemic if we don't figure out how and why it's killing people?
Leave a grieving family alone, sorry for your loss.
