AFC have today decided to cancel a number of competitions this year to safeguard the interests of all stakeholders due to the uncertainty and risks involved in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. — AFP pic

Among the AFC competitions that have been cancelled are the Under-16 and Under-19 championships scheduled to be held in Bahrain and Uzbekistan respectively. Both the Kuwait Football Association and the Football Association of Thailand will host the next editions of the two tournaments in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
