CABANATUAN CITY – A 32-unit molecular laboratory, aimed at strengthening the city’s response against coronavirus disease is expected to be operational by late March or early April this year, a ranking official said on Saturday.

Vice Mayor Julius Cesar Vergara said the construction of the RT-PCR Laboratory at MV Gallego Cabanatuan City General Hospital here.The facility was officially started by Roche Philippines in December and would be completed within 102 working days. Vergara said the P23-million locally-funded facility has mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration components.
