New South Wales Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant has announced updated health advice in relation to the coronavirus outbreak in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Dr Chant spoke of the updated coronavirus figures from Northern Beaches, saying there were 30 new locally acquired cases of the virus, to 8pm last night. She said 28 of the locally acquired cases were linked to the Avalon Cluster.

“We are having ongoing investigations in relation to the other two cases, but they live in the Northern Beaches”. "It is important we remain vigilant across New South Wales. “We know people from the Northern Beaches may have travelled since this outbreak emerged”. "It is critical that anyone with symptoms across New South Wales presents for testing if they have the most minor of symptoms," Dr Chant said.
