NSW's medical watchdog has shut down a popular health clinic in Sydney after two patients were rushed to hospital following alleged dodgy intravenous therapy (IV) infusions.

A warning was issued by the Health Care Complaints Commission on Monday for Detoxologie, which provides IV infusions and colonic irrigation.

“Medication used by the clinic has been imported from overseas and has not been approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration,” the HCCC statement read.Ms Fain claimed to be a registered nurse, but the HCCC said it failed to find evidence of that.
