Ontario reports 1,132 daily COVID-19 cases, implements new restrictions scale

The system classifies each public health unit as a red, orange, yellow or green zone based on caseload and transmission levels. It came into force at midnight as previous measures imposed on a handful of hot spots were set to expire. Regions in the red category have, among other things, indoor restaurant dining limited to 10 people and gyms limited to 10 people indoors.

In an open letter published Saturday, Quebec Premier François Legault thanked Quebecers for their efforts and solidarity in helping keep the COVID-19 situation in the province manageable.

If everyone who goes to the hospitals with any ailment wasn’t call COVID the numbers would be less.

What a poor choice of names. Should be called what's open scale as very little ever gets closed. No real focus on any effective restrictions

Premier Ford pls look at adjusting service at the city’s public libraries. Too many non compliance issues with relation to social distancing, mask wearing, etc. City’s COVID-19 numbers are not decreasing.
