Seeking short or longer term reprieves from the current state of affairs, Black travelers are leveraging the community to build connections, seek recommendations, and share experiences of their time in the city.

HauwaOtori I have been complaining about seriously detrimental GI issues for 3 of the 6 years I spent full time in NYC. Came down to PR and, while I spent 6 months trying to convince my doctor, I finally got a referral for a Gastro. Pending results still but it could have been cancer!
