PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry may allow asymptomatic Covid-19 patients to be treated at home in the event its quarantine and low-risk treatment centres reach maximum capacity.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said they were considering such a move but this would solely be for those who do not show any symptoms.

On Thursday , Sabah Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun had said that Covid-19 patients with manageable symptoms would be treated at home to manage the rising number of cases in the state.
