Hajdu says some provinces 'chose to deny' federal government's COVID-19 testing guidance

“I think the thing Canadians can ask themselves is when is the last time they went to the federal government to get a test or to get a medical procedure? Never,” Hajdu told CTV’s Power Play on Friday.

The federal government continues to advise anyone who thinks they may have COVID-19 to contact their local health authority about testing. Ontario’s decision was an abrupt change from its earlier message that anyone who wanted a test could get one.

The problem when the minister of health understands nothing of what she is supposed to understand because she is a graphic designer!

I live in northern Ontario and getting a test here is nearly impossible. There are no pharmacies north of Huntsville doing testing. Our health unit has very strict criteria for getting tested. It is a joke.

What worse is she denied it was serious and let it into our country. Then she gave away our PPE and is months behind other countries procuring rapid tests even though provinces were begging for them. Even if a weather forecaster was this bad they would have been fired. Horrible

Track records have shown Hajdu, CPHO Tam, and the federal gov't have no clue on how to handle COVID19, and health care is provincial jurisdiction.
