The twin-goals the Morrison government hoped to achieve through the 2020-2021 budget have been realised according to The Australian’s Joe Kelly. Mr Kelly said “the Australian reported the day after the budget last week that really it had two key objectives: the first was obviously to try and beat the recession and … the second objective is to try and help win the election”. “The government tried to ensure that there were winners across the board from this budget,” he said.
