Queensland Shadow Health Minister Ros Bates says Annastacia Palaszczuk is cold, cruel and calculating and her actions are designed to ensure she keeps borders closed to win the next election. Her comment comes after Ms Palaszczuk forced terminally ill 71-year-old Garry Ralph to quarantine in a Brisbane hotel room, despite pleas from Mr Ralph and his wife that he quarantine at home. “I think Queenslanders are sick of hearing these tragic stories,” Ms Bates told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
