PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 489 new infections with two new clusters identified.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah yesterday said a majority of the cases were from the Tembok cluster in Kedah and also red zones in Sabah.

“The Malaysian returned from India and the foreigner returned from the Maldives,” he said in a statement here yesterday. “The index cases for Bah Puchong were three people who had recently returned from Sabah and had been hospitalised,” he said.
