MAYNILA - Hindi sakop ng temporary suspension ng deployment ng health care workers ang mga dumaan sa government-to-government agreement o bilateral labor relations.

“Ito po ay papayagan po natin at hindi po sila sakop ng temporary suspension,” pahayag ni Administrator Bernard Olalia ng Philippine Overseas Employment Administration .

Matagal din aniya ang iginugugol ng mga aplikante dito dahil kailangan pa nilang mag-aral ng lengwahe, mag-exam, at dumaan sa interview. Ayon kay Olalia, wala pa silang natatanggap na request mula sa industriya o mismong sa mga nurses sa muling pagpapalawig ng exemption, at kung mayroon man ay agad naman nila itong aaksiyonan.

Higit 1,000 umanong mga nurses ang kasalukuyang nasa proseso ang kontrata para ma-validate kung pasok umano sila sa resolusyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force.
