A Gold Coast man who allegedly threatened to kill Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and the Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young has made a brief appearance in the Southport Magistrates Court.
Aaron David Marriage, 43, has been charged with one count of using a carriage service to make a threat to kill. Representing himself, Mr Marriage told Magistrate Kerry Magee he took issue with the details of the charge and needed extra time to seek legal advice. "A few things have been changed with what was actually written, Your Honour, the so-called email," he told the court.Mr Marriage was not held in custody.Before his court appearance, Mr Marriage approached media in the courtroom and told them television cameras had been parked in his street all week.Last month, Queensland police confirmed they take all suspected threats seriously.
