Following a medical examiner's report ruling Vincent Truitt death a homicide, the family are renewing their calls for the bodycam footage to be released.

During the incident, one of the males, later identified as Truitt, brandished a handgun and was shot by one of the officers, according to the Bureau's report.

Truitt was given medical aid by officers at the scene, but died the following day at the hospital from his injuries. The Cobb County Police Department asked the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to investigate the incident on July 14.
