Thousands of people die from motor vehicle accidents every year, but we don’t change or limit driving, so the argument goes. But the fact is, we do — we have seat belts, speed limits, airbags and if a particular road or intersection was extremely dangerous, we would investigate and make engineering changes.
The messaging from the White House needs to change. It is a new virus hotspot in our nation’s capital and safety protocols should not go back to the status quo.

The WHO just announced that 10% of the world (750m) has had Covid & 1m has died. IFR (Infection fatality Rate) of .13%, similar to the flu at .18%. And flu has a vaccine.
It's not so much that they are 'listening', they are just deaf to anything else. A lesson I learned from personal experience. Someone I want to continue to call friend, someone whose politics differs from mine, was explicit, I know what I know and that is the end of it.
