President Trump's improving health suggests 'the virus is now one we can handle' | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Andrew Bolt says if President Trump is truly recovering from COVID, people should have hope that “this virus is now one we can handle”.\n\nMr Bolt said the US president contracting the virus would hurt his campaign, considering he has played down the pandemic and only last week mocked Joe Biden for wearing a face mask everywhere.\n\nHe added, however, there were two aspects of Trump’s COVID case which should reassure Australians. \n\nThe first, the virus was likely caught by the president in the map room of the White House, not at the confirmation ceremony in celebration of Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination. \n\nMr Bolt said the media has been wanting to blame Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination ceremony because it “fits their agenda”. \n\n“Makes Trump look reckless; makes Barrett look shifty; and makes the virus seem so dangerous that wearing face masks even outside is a must,” he said. \n\nHe said COVID was almost entirely an indoor disease. \n\n“That's where it tends to spread, and the most likely place that Trump caught or spread the virus was in the map room of the White House, just off Trump's office, where Trump and key advisors rehearsed from Saturday a week ago until last Tuesday for the debate with Joe Biden,' he said. \n\n“So don't let the virus extremists scare you.”\n\nMr Bolt said the fact President Trump was supposedly recovering from the virus was a further cause for reassurance.\n\n“If you believe him and his doctors, (Trump is) seeming already on the mend, after getting three drugs, including Remdesivir, plus zinc,” he said. \n\n“Trump is actually in a very high risk category for this virus. His age, 74, his gender and his obesity.\n\n“But if he is out of the hospital soon, that just won't be political gold for him.\n\n“It should also tell you that you are now much less likely to die of the virus; doctors are much better at treating this.”\n\n realDonaldTrump Jajajajajjaja Jajajajajjaja so you’re telling me the same treatment trump used, will become available people lunging in developing nations ... no charge...., Jajajajajjaja Jajajajajjaja realDonaldTrump POTUS is being taken care of with abundant of caution.
