Nigeria at 60: Kogi doctors seeks improvement of service

celebrating this year’s Independence Anniversary without the implementation of Revised 2014 CONMESS for them by the State government.

In a statement signed by Dr Omakoji Simeon Oyiguh, the Kogi State Chairman of NMA and made available to DAILY POST in Lokoja on Thursday, the NMA noted with sadness, the news of the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja still under lock and key, since three months ago. While wishing Nigerians, particularly all doctors in the country a happy Independence Anniversary, Oyiguh said “As we celebrate our 60th anniversary as a nation, let us continue to pray for a new Nigeria, with a better healthcare delivery system where Doctors, both in public and private practice are well motivated to care for humanity.
