One further death was reported by the Department of Health yesterday evening, while 429 new cases were confirmed.
Currently there are just two counties - Dublin and Donegal - on Level 3 of the government's Living with Covid plan with all other areas on Level 2. Today, members of NPHET, including Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn, will meet to review the key virus trends and decide if recommendations should be made - to move other locations to Level 3 restrictions.
Public health officials have flagged concerns about Cork, Galway, Roscommon and Monaghan - where cases have increased. However yesterday evening, Dr Glynn warned that Covid is now rising everywhere with all counties going in the wrong direction.Dr Glynn said he would not speculate on whether further recommendations will be required - today, shortly or not at all - as he again appealed to all sectors in all parts of the country to follow the public health measures.

There is no reason to bring in more restrictions as they are unjustified lack logical thinking and ridiculous. We need to abolish the restrictions not bring in more. This proves how far NPHET are away from reality.
