A former Sydney plastic surgeon is deregistered for at least seven years, after a tribunal finds his breast and vaginal operations caused 'untold stress, anxiety and disfigurement' to dozens of patients.

A former Sydney plastic surgeon has been stripped of his medical licence after botching breast and vaginal surgeries of a dozen patients, causing "untold stress, anxiety and disfigurement".He woke some patients up mid-surgeryThe NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal ruled Leslie Blackstock had been "grossly derelict" in his duties, including when he washed and reinserted an infected implant.

It also heard another patient recalled Blackstock waking her up mid-surgery and showing her what he had cut from her vagina. One told the tribunal that one of their breast had "dropped" after surgery, while another said one of their breasts became significantly higher and firmer than the other. He was convicted and fined $255,000 last year for conducting a private health facility and performing treatments without a licence.

Given surgeons will have some of the highest rates of sociopathy - it’s not a surprise that one of their brains decided to experiment and see what happens with patients in this way. Completely logical for a sociopath. Weirdly derelict for rest of humanity.
