Directors were invited to demonstration of a newly developed test-and-trace system

One director said the marketing approach felt like an attempt to profit from weaknesses in the national system. Approximately 22% of people transferred to the contact tracing system between 10 September and 16 September were not reached by tracers, an increase on 16% the previous week, according toDeloitte confirmed it has developed a digital tool to support local health authorities with local contact tracing.

One thing you’re perhaps missing here. Deloitte are being particularly shady but salesforce involvement is actually more worrying; as this suggests corporate data harvesting. Especially as salesforce has social media applications and might link data.

This is unbelievable and tax payers will be paying into the pockets of these people because the government has been so incompetent in setting up its ‘wold beating’ test and trace system, if it had given the job to local public services in the first place instead of its donors....
