Taguig releases additional P14 million in COVID-AID to barangays

In a Zoom meeting with barangay captains on Monday , Mayor Lino Cayetano announced that the second tranche of P500,000 COVID-AID for each barangay is now available.

Cayetano said the COVID-AID fund can be used to purchase personal protective equipment , disinfection equipment, medicines and vitamins, food supplies, medical equipment and other supplies, and other COVID-19 related procurement. As of Sept. 26, Taguig has 7,332 confirmed COVID-19 cases including 6,875 recoveries and 56 deaths, leaving 301 active cases. Taguig has the lowest number of active cases and lowest number of COVID-19 related deaths in the National Capital Region.

Meanwhile, the Taguig Safe City Task Force has released the guidelines for the observance of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day.
