Federal guidelines!! Federal Government controls guidelines, the National Stockpile and the TGA FFS! This is NOT something to politicise and blame VIC. EVERY State has had infected HCW’s, when there’s virus in community. NSW currently has it in 2 hospitals and a Dialysis Unit !!!

14 cases today! I think we’ll survive 🙄

Overdue for local PPE manufacturing

Now need more data How many HCW were/are -hospitalised -in ICU -died Over 2400 workplace injuries contributed to by inadequate PPE, driven by national, state guidelines that still don’t advise airborne PPE for HCW caring for all COVID19vic patients rwillingham Jess_Longbottom

Wow does the liberal government have this much control over the ABC?

Just another error in a long line of errors. Our state government and authorities have failed us on so many fronts.

It is nothing less than criminal how the Victorian Health Department have mismanaged the entire crisis. The disaster response should be ceded to NSW and God help us if we don’t....

VictorianCHO didn’t they teach you not manage by FEAR but FACTS? If we are short of PPE best thing to do is replenish the stock,if the price through the roof.we should manufacture our own PPE locally instead of relying on importing. I know we got one place, but we need more!

Buy more, make more- this is one area we can “control”

Cheif medical officer Sutton, has no credibility 'saying he heard about hotel Quarantine in the newspapers' What a load of rot Why lie about it? How dare he tell us yesterday, not to spread rumours. He spreads rumours & flat out lies! Melbournelockdown Australia

Got to hand to the abc if they can kick the boot into Victoria they will. undermining the Victorian government yet again. Are you trying to take number one spot of worst media outlet from sky news?

Well order more!!! What's going on in that place?!

PPE supply has gone through the roof globally. Was tricky early in the year, but our suppliers are now offering unlimited amounts of high quality stuff at pre-pandemic prices. There’s a huge glut

closer to the real scandal. Remember when Dan, Sutton and mikakos stood up for days on end & told us health workers were catching it in the community? Were contact tracers told to record said workers as community transmissions if they said they adhered to workplace guidelines?

Keeping the fear going ABC

Where is our local manufacturing ? Time to resurrect the Made in Australia brand again.

How about just adhering to the guidlines which has not happened throughout this pandemic due to availabiliry of ppe

Victorian Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton apologises to Afghan communityVictorian Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton has apologised to members of the state's Afghan community after his comments at a recent coronavirus briefing left them feeling singled out. I heard the original comments & I 100% do not think that was his intention. It just shows his integrity to make a public apology Good on you VictorianCHO Thanks for everything you are doing IStandWithDan Seriously? He was offering to help but by all means take offence when it suits. He is trying to help. Just been to the super market. Only saw six mask wearers. All dicing with death.

Afghan community accuses Victoria's health officer of 'singling' them out during COVID-19 briefingA group representing the Afghan community in Victoria has criticised Professor Brett Sutton after he made direct reference to the community during a daily briefing on new coronavirus cases. Well do the right thing it’s not bloody hard, Who cares, if the shoe fits chappy. It is time to call out offenders, they are deliberately acting illegally with the consequences that many, many people are both at risk of infection & of major economic problems. We can no longer tolerate this & excuse this behaviour. There is no excuse for breaching lockdown now.
