Health officials announced there are 18 new cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba on Saturday

The five-day test positivity rate remains at 1.7 per cent.three cases in the Prairie Mountain Health regionThere are 331 active cases in the province and 1,211 people have recovered.The death toll remains at 16.The province's daily COVID-19 bulletin cited a "concerning increase in the number of cases in Winnipeg." The Winnipeg Health Region currently has 252 active cases.

The bulletin also announced a possible exposure to COVID-19 at a Winnipeg high school on September 17.
