SENATOR Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan once again called for the resignation of Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III after the country's coronavirus disease cases breached the 250,000 mark on Friday, September 11.“Problema ang leadership. Ano ang solusyon sa problema ng leadership? Palitan si Duque at mga nakapaligid dito at ilagay ang mahuhusay na public health experts,” he said.

He recommended Philippine General Hospital Director Gap Legaspi and former DOH secretaries Manuel Dayrit or Esperanza Cabral. Kaya natin talunin ang Covid-19 basta mahusay ang in charge," he added.
