Liberal MP Dr Katie Allen says it’s clear Victoria is starting to get control of the virus but Premier Daniel Andrews hasn’t offered “real hope” in regards to the strategy out. “We’re hearing someone who is not listening to the people of Victoria,” Dr Allen told Sky News. “We’re looking for the premier understanding that business and retail and consumers are going to be part of the road out,” she said.

“This is not just about health, it’s also about the economy.” Mr Andrews released his government’s roadmap on Sunday for getting out of lockdown, which extended Metropolitan Melbourne’s lockdown by another fortnight. It also outlined further steps for cautiously exiting the lockdowns, dependent on low case numbers. “There is a lot of issues in this roadmap that don’t make a lot of sense,” Dr Allen said. “It’s not a one size fits all, let’s be targeted in this roadmap out.

DanielAndrewsMP Andrews Victorian government will NOT get control of the COVID virus. The only thing in control in Victoria is the Chinese government and people working for Andrews.

DanielAndrewsMP Liberal MP Dr Katie Allen: “This is not just about health, it’s also about the economy.” Obviously has left Medicine, now a Doctor of Economics. It's about a health emergency that is getting under control and not yet ready (soon) to release restrictions and rebuild the economy.

DanielAndrewsMP As a leader, DanAndrews has accountability to the protocols however, he must also be accountable to the laws of common sense. What is currently occurring in Victoria calls for a common sense investigation by the party.

DanielAndrewsMP Perhaps ask KatieAllenMP what hope her government has offered AgedCareCrisis residents, robodebt victims, NDIS clients bushfire victims, drought victims AsylumSeekers & two little Aussie born girls imprisoned now for over 2.5 years. Give us some real hope, Katie! auspol

Andrews ‘secretly changes COVID strategy’ from suppression to eradication | Sky News AustraliaNationals Senator Matt Canavan says there has been a “secret change in strategy” in Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews’ approach to managing the coronavirus.\n\n“Effectively the Victorian government adopted a strategy of elimination,” he told Sky News.\n\nIn Victoria’s newly released roadmap to recovery, the Andrews government requires the state to record zero cases for a 28-day period in order to transition to a COVID normal level of function. \n\n“Why would you be going for that target when we’ve all been saying we should be flattening the curve and we need to get our health system up to scratch”.\n\nMr Canavan said Victoria’s roadmap to recovery was “kind of friendless” and was not being backed by most public experts or the business community in the state.\n\nThe Nationals Senator said the Victorian Premier needed to explain “why he has chosen certain thresholds” and he needed to release the modelling supporting his plan.\n\n“It just seems completely crazy to set these very low thresholds before people can get out and about in Victoria”.\n\n“If Dan Andrews wants to stick with Dan Andrews plan, well Dan Andrews should be sent the bill. The bill shouldn’t be coming to Canberra and all Australian taxpayers”.\n\nImage: Getty mattjcan The_Nationals FANTASTIC Great Work Well done Mattie SMH this morning states the modelling is based on 25 percent of new cases are contacted in the first 24 hours - this may have been the case when there was 700 cases but PM states 90 percent plus - make huge difference to modelling - more transparency no there hasnt, Morrison changed to suppression weeks ago after failing to eradicate via his National Cabinet, Andrews know if u keep targeting eradication its more successful in suppressing the virus..next time talk to a Doctor not a miner?
