ALOR SETAR: The Kedah Medical Centre (KMC) will be closed from Wednesday (Sept 9) until Sept 11 for a full sanitisation process following the confirmation of Covid-19 cases at the hospital.

KMC medical director Datuk Dr Kamaruzzaman Ali said the temporary closure of the hospital for three days will allow time to conduct a thorough cleaning.

"Patients who require further treatment will be referred to KPJ Penang or KPJ Perlis Specialist Hospitals," he said in a statement on Tuesday night.
