Linden Cameron was shot multiple times last week

Linden suffers from separation anxiety, and had a mental episode triggered by the disruption to his routine as his mom prepared to return to work.Recalling what happened after police arrived at her home, she continued: ‘I said, “He’s unarmed. He doesn’t have anything. He just gets mad and he starts yelling and screaming.”

‘He’s a kid. He’s trying to get attention. He doesn’t know how to regulate.’ Golda says she was told to stay inside – and was distraught on hearing a volley of gunfire moments later. She emerged from her house to find Linden gravely-wounded and handcuffed. Golda added: ‘Why didn’t they Tase him? Why didn’t they shoot him with a rubber bullet? You are big police officers with massive amounts of resources. Come on. Give me a break.’

A Salt Lake City Police spokesman claimed officers believed Linden may have been threatening neighbors with a weapon. They said an independent investigation into the shooting had been launched, with bodycam footage set to be reviewed. That report is due back later this month.

Poor kid 😔

Typical.

White kid getting shot. Just because PoC are disproportionately victims of police brutality, doesn't mean your white ass is safe, because they'll shoot you almost as quickly.

America. No other explaination needed really
