says it is working to remove the footage from its systems and will take action against accounts that are found to be repeatedly attempting to upload clips.
A spokesperson said:"Our systems have been automatically detecting and flagging these clips for violating our policies against content that displays, praises, glorifies, or promotes suicide. We are banning accounts that repeatedly try to upload clips, and we appreciate our community members who've reported content and warned others against watching, engaging, or sharing such videos on any platform out of respect for the person and their family.
On Twitter, Alexis Tangman, who said he was a friend of the victim, yesterday warned the"gruesome" video was in circulation, urging followers to report it.For your own safety, please institute a social media lockdown. Do not watch GIFs, TikTok videos, Facebook clips, Twitter clips...anything. If you have children, take them off of the Internet entirely.
