It’s both. The goal should be to balance our approach to the virus with stabilizing the economy. Too much of either would be a catastrophe. The approach we took was to flatten the curve to prevent running out of hospital beds and equipment. We did that. We ALL did it.

Part of it is that we have to get back to semi normal at some point. We prevented the spike for hospitals but now it seems like we’re trying to prevent the disease all together. What if a vaccine is never found? We seem to be banking on the possibility.
