The latest update from the National Public Health Emergency Team is in.It comes as Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has said no date has been agreed by the government yet to allow wet pubs to reopen.
Mr Varadkar said he has “never guaranteed” wet pubs would reopen and it will be a decision for the government who will act on the advice of NPHET. Draft government guidelines which were drawn up in conjunction with Failte Ireland have been circulated to vintners groups over the weekend.The Government's list of countries exempt from the "avoid non-essential travel" advice has not been changed since August.
And Mr Varadkar said it will not be amended until the publication of a medium-term roadmap for dealing with Covid-19.
