Mystery COVID-19 cases in northern and western Sydney | Kaubo

There was no immediately obvious link between the two people but, after a few more cases were detected, investigators traced them back to the City Tattersalls gym on Pitt Street.

In a sign things may be returning to normal, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has welcomed her parents over to her home for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. There have been no new cases linked to the Crossroads Hotel at Casula since August 1, and two incubation periods have passed since the last case.

Of those who have died in NSW, 67 per cent were aged 80 or older, 24 per cent were in their 70s, 7 per cent were in their 60s and one person was in his 50s.
