Half of people now feel the measures the government has taken do not go far enough, the poll finds, as ministers are urged to clarify guidance with winter approaching.
The Health Foundation's polling data, which is based on a survey of 2,246 people in July, shows that 56% think the government has not handledWhen asked about their views on the different measures the government has taken to tackle the pandemic, significantly fewer people feel the government's response is about right than in May .Similarly, 50% now feel the measures the government has taken do not go far enough and more should be done, compared to 37% in May, the survey found.
Nearly four in five think the guidance on wearing face coverings on public transport is clear , but only 44% think official advice on who and how many people you can meet is clear, with 54% thinking the advice is unclear.

And 2,246 are representative of the country as a whole. Come on this is just ridiculous. What were the demographics of this small group of people “randomly chosen”?! Report something worthwhile or just go away.
Which half The top or bottom half? I like many think they could have done things a little differently, but it was learn as you go.. never experienced such a pandemic before... some things worked some didnt.... but isnt hind sight beautiful..
The country is divided between those who see no need for any lockdown/masks, those who wanted a longer lockdown and those who are satisfied with the govt. response. It would be pretty impossible for any government to be rated well on their handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
