This affects more than just them and that is what makes me so angry. My mother went to the doctor last week and the guy standing in front of her to check in said he just got back from Sturgis and wasn’t feeling well. They should have have to quarantine for 2 weeks in S. Dakota.

The tally of coronavirus infections tracing back to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally has surpassed 260 — with the first known death of an attendee reported in Minnesota. Nearly half a million bikers flocked to South Dakota for the event.

A Minnesota man in his 60s who went to the rally was later hospitalized for COVID-19 and died earlier this week.

An important question. Do you know how many cycles of amplification were used when these cases were discovered? As the NYT discovered, if it’s than 30, then 90% or more of the cases would be non contagious. As this was likely the case (most use 40 cycles), the 260 is nbfd. :)
