Sky News host Chris Kenny says Australia should have done more to protect and support the elderly and less to harm society and hurt the young in responding to COVID-19.

Sky News host Chris Kenny says Australia should have done more to protect the elderly and less to harm society and hurt the young in responding to COVID-19. Mr Kenny said the fact Australia overreacted to the threat of the virus is becoming increasingly apparent as the country learns more about the virus, treatments improve, and fatality rates around the world drop.

“We should have been doing less to harm society, and hurt the young, and more to protect and support the elderly,” Mr Kenny said. Mr Kenny said while the virus itself posed a moderate health risk to Australia, it was the country’s management of it which had damaged the nation’s society and economy incalculably.

Yes! Yes!!!

What's the endgame, DanielAndrewsMP ? (A) Flatten the curve? (B) Zero community transmissions? Or (C) Complete eradication? Seems like we started out with 'A' but have skipped to 'C' in a vain attempt to do the impossible. You're a blunt instrument. What we needed was a scalpel.

Spot on, but now watch the leftards attack with their vitriol. The truth is like kryptonite to the left.

That’s what I’ve been saying all along!

FatherBob Wait till he realises aged care is a LNP responsibility.

Chris Kenny? The guy that says he’ll always be known as the journo called the dog fvcker.

FatherBob The elderly who helped to make this country what it is are not collateral damage.

' Australia should have done more to protect and support the elderly' YES!

Great hindsight reporting Chris, keep up the good work.

FatherBob You mean Australia should have a competent Minister looking after Aged sector? Or a minister looking after our borders? auspoI

Well cutting Funding was a good idea just ask Scumo he thought so when he was the Treasurer

FatherBob This is the very definition of insanity, if there was only a place we could send them to live out their delusions together. Kenny and Sky have been doing everything they can to jeopardize the safety of everyone, particularly the elderly

slpng_giants_oz It’s no surprise why the MurdochCoaltionCancer can’t handle the inconvenient truths from TheRealPBarry on Media Watch

no.fucking.shit.sherlock

Yep,evidence and a balanced approach

They can start by lifting the ban and restrictions on Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin! 🐸🖕🏼

A bit hard when the heart and soul ($1.5bn) was ripped out of Aged Care before the crisis hit. Sad.
