One Nation leader Mark Latham says the prominence of Australia’s state premiers has wound the county back to pre-federation times, which is “dreadful for our national coherence.”

7min

His comments come regarding the harsh border lockdowns across the country which are dividing families and preventing people from receiving the medical help they need. Mr Latham said the harsh closure was “not only cruel, it’s ludicrous.” “It’s become a different country,” Mr Latham told Sky News host Alan Jones. “The prominence of these state premiers means we’ve gone back to being six colonies.

And of course Mark Latham is the new messiah. What an embarrassment this idiot is. And what a shame that so many are stupid enough to listen to him. But that's what this plonker relies on, in order to have any voice at all. So, keep cutting funding to public education, eh Mark?

Victoria's virus cases are 'too high' to reopen state | Sky News AustraliaPremier Daniel Andrews says Victoria’s virus numbers are “too high” to open the state up and “still too high to put forward a definitive plan”.\n\n“We are seeing a fall across each of the key metrics, the strategy is working and that’s a credit to every Victorian who’s made a powerful contribution to that end,” Mr Andrews said.\n\n“But we just have to stay the course on this, at 100, at 94, or 114, whatever around that number we simply could not open up.\n\n“Those numbers would explode ... we would finish up in perhaps an even worse situation than we have been in recent months.”\n\n'Now, there will be a plan. It will come soon. But it will be one that we can be confident of, not something that potentially gets a few people being happier, but then ultimately has to be revised because it didn't mean much when you first announced it.'\n\nVictoria recorded 114 new coronavirus cases and 11 more deaths on Sunday.\n\nMr Andrews confirmed 472 Victorians are in hospital, 25 are in intensive care and 11 are on a ventilator.\n\nSunday’s reporting brings the state’s death toll from the virus to 524 and the national total to 611.\n\n'There are 4226 cases with unknown origin, that is an increase of three since yesterday’s report,” Mr Andrews said.\n\nPremier Andrews also confirmed there are 1,277 active cases in aged care and 406 active cases among healthcare workers.\n\nImage: News Corp Australia DanielAndrewsMP ‘We have no idea what to do’ DanielAndrewsMP Victoria is done ✅ NSW is next ✅

Attitude behind border bans is ‘abhorrent, unrealistic, and unfair’ | Sky News AustraliaThe path to living with COVID-19 requires exemplary tracing and high rates of testing, none of which involves hard border closures without the “flexibility to adapt” according to Liberal Senator Amanda Stoker.\n\nQueensland continues to close its borders to New South Wales residents, preventing some in the Northern Rivers area of the state from receiving much needed hospital care.\n\nPremier Annastacia Palaszczuk has maintained her strong stance against inter-state travel even for extenuating circumstances declaring Queenslanders can go to Queensland hospitals and people in NSW can go to NSW hospitals.\n\nMs Stoker told Sky News Queenslanders found this attitude to be “quite abhorrent” and the idea fellow Australians could not receive life or death treatment was “appalling”.\n\n“It’s not realistic, it’s not fair, and it lacks the flexibility that’s required to be compassionate to people who are ill,” she said.\n\n“It lacks the common sense required to keep our core businesses ticking along so that our economy doesn’t collapse.”\n\nImage: Getty stoker_aj AND quite frankly very arbitrary. I entered Qld after filling in a form stating 'I had not been in a declared hotspot in the last fourteen days', only to have a new public hospital employee turn up from the designated hotspot called Brisbane and move into my share accomodation... stoker_aj Protest against COVID19 restrictions = Heavy Fines Attend BLM Marxist Rallies in Melbourne = No Fines Do not pass the Victorian border, go straight to isolation. COVID-19 has seen 'dangerous and unprecedented' violation of doctor-patient code | Sky News AustraliaThe extreme politicisation of the debate concerning Hydroxychloroquine has resulted in unprecedented government intrusion upon the doctor-patient relationship according to Concerned Ontario Doctors President Dr Kulvinder Kaur Gill.\n\nHydroxychloroquine has been criminalised in some Australian states despite being clearly listed on the World Health Organisation’s page of essential medications. \n\nDr Gill said following the medical atrocities committed by doctors during World War Two, the International Code of Medical Ethics was formed to protect the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship from any future intrusion by government.\n\n“Now in 2020 we see a very dangerous and unprecedented violation of that very doctor-patient relationship,” she said\n\n“It’s absolutely appalling that we are seeing this unprecedented violation of the doctor-patient relationship where we have many of the developed nations around the world that are actually prohibiting doctors and sanctioning them if it is prescribed to their patients”.\n\n“Such a violation has never occurred before for any medication ever” which points to how “extremely politicised” this discussion about Hydroxychloroquine has become.\n\nImage: AP Because HCQ is too cheap to meet pharmaceutical giants, but Hydroxychloroquine saves lives! MRobertsQLD HCQWORKS, and it's been KNOWN since 2005. Our medical bodies are behaving like POLITICAL ACTIVIST for the Left side of politics than medical SCIENTISTS;This irresponsible behaviour in the middle of a health crisi is UNFORGIVABLE;These medical bodies should run for political office and stop pretending they are scientists.
