Bulacan governor tests positive for COVID-19

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan–Governor Daniel R. Fernando has tested positive for coronavirus disease and decided to self-quarantine at his Official Residence where he would continue to lead the affairs of the provincial government, particularly its response to the pandemic.

Fernando suspects he may have been exposed to a member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan he met at several official functions, and who later tested positive for SARS-CoV2, the pathogen that causes COVID-19.
