COVID does not kill healthy children and severe disease is rare, a major UK study suggests.
Kids aged younger than 1 month, aged 10 to 14 years, and of black ethnicity were more likely to be admitted to critical care. “In fact, the deaths that we did observe were children with profound comorbidities - not a touch of asthma, not cystic fibrosis. “We do know that they are at harm by being kept away from school because of the lack of educational opportunities, and that’s affecting mental health.”Children account for 1 to 2 per cent of Covid cases worldwide and the vast majority have mild or no symptoms.
Anything above 0% is not acceptable and what about unhealthy children do they not matter then ?
