The Ethic Centre's Dr Simon Longstaff AO says the Oxford COVID-19 vaccine, developed using cell lines from a previously electively aborted foetus, is deeply problematic for those who believe all human life is sacred. The COVID-19 vaccine being developed by Oxford University is proving an ethical dilemma for some as it uses cell lines from an electively aborted foetus.

An elective abortion is one that is carried out for no medical reason. Dr Longstaff said the Oxford Vaccine was developed using the human foetal cell line HEK-293 which comes from human embryonic kidney cells from an elective abortion in the 1970s. “For some people, notably those who believe that all human life is sacred, the notion that they might be deriving some sort of benefit from such a source is deeply problematic and some would say, even against their conscience," he said.

If all life is sacred to these people wouldn't a successful vaccine be at the top of their list? 🤔

One more reason to refuse this snake oil

Does he have similar problems with the vaccines for polio, chicken pox and rubella?

FatherBob I think that discouraging people taking a vaccine which can prevent them contracting a fatal disease is deeply problematic for those who believe all human life is sacred.

bjee77 It is problematic but what about all the other vaccines that have fetal cell lines in and have had for decades? Why does this particular vaccine warrant so much attention? Shouldn't we be complaining about every one with fetal cell lines in and be demanding alternatives?

It's just manditory adoption. To go with everything else that's manditory. Sometimes I just wish they would say they'd love no one to exist.

Yeah so are condoms. Get over it.

bjee77 Killing babies to make a vaccine and imposing it ... when every pol. machination has been used to mislead people about the dangers of the virus, and effective treatments that don't directly inc. gov. control. ~Evil.

bjee77 Force people to buy/or willing buy the property of death camp victims is formal co-operation in evil and never permissible. Caught up in general commerce with those who do is an evil but permissible.

This conversation is nearing 70 years too late. Why werent you god loving lunatics up in arms when vaccines started? You know you could always opt out and pray to your imaginary friend. Leave the rest of us be, like we tolerate your delusion.

No shit 🤔
